Secrets for September are a South West progressive and folk influenced band formed in 2011 and have released 3 CD eps and 1 full album.

Secrets for September have received extensive airplay on the BBC as well as many ILR stations. In 2012 the band were nominated for a South West music award and performed at the ceremony hosted by legrndary music writer John Robb.

Secrets for September have toured all over the UK opening for acts such as The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, Mostly Autumn, The Blockheads, Lene Lovich and It Bites to name a few as well as performing at many festivals such as Watchet Live, Plymouth Volksfest, Sonic Rock Solstice, Tiverton Balloon and Kozfest.

Secrets for September have collaborated with Roger O’Donnell (the Cure) as well as former Matthews Southern Comfort bass guitarist Andrew Leigh.

 

 
 

Matthew North : Guitar, Bass, Keyboard's and Production

2010 - Present

Matthew founded the band in 2010 with a view to just a recording project though it quickly expanded into a full gigging band. Matthew also has a solo career as well as being guitarist for Jazz composer Mike Westbrook and founder member of the Gothic Rock band All Living Fear.

 
   
Ellie Taylor : Vocals

2012 - present

Ellie joined the band at the end of 2011 and within 24 hours of joining she played her first show with the band. Since then she has toured with the band all over the UK as well as creating most of the bands original artwork. Ellie also runs a successful furniture restoration buisness.
